1. Theme Song – Set us Aflame

   • Our church’s theme for 2021 is “Revive, Restore, and Renew”.  We will be using “Set us Aflame” as our theme song , and we will sing the song for the first time in our online worship services on Pentecost Day (May 23).  Our Music Director, Joanne Loo, invites you to listen to the recordings and read the lyrics before Pentecost.

1. April Offering Summary Report: Click here

   • For 2021, the vestry approved the new account structure to have all 3 ministries as separate accounts along with an operating account for general shared purposes. Please note that as of April 2021 any offerings received that do not specify which ministry or special restricted fund (i.e. English Ministry - Regular, Cantonese Ministry - Regular, Mandarin Ministry - Regular, Special, etc.) the offering is directed to, it will be classified automatically for the general operating use in our Operating account.

   • If offering through our online form (www.stechurch.com/donate), please designate by selecting from the “Fund” dropdown box.

   • If offering through cheque, please make note in the memo section of the cheque.

   • If offering through cash, please indicate by using the appropriate envelope assigned with your donation envelope number, or mark on the envelope.

3. English Ministry - Reading Together

   • Join Rev. Maria on Tuesdays from 7:30pm - 8:30pm in the month of May for "Reading Together".

   • We will begin with Henri J.M. Nouwen's book, "The Return of the Prodigal Son". Please obtain your own copy in bookstores or online. Please register via priest@stechurch.com for the Zoom link. This will be in English.

4. Prayer Requests

   • Please pray for Ms. Lee (Enoch’s mother) for her speedy recovery from her surgery.

   • Lisa Cheng and Vanky So’s health and recovery.

   • Grace Krist’s father in Vancouver, who is not well.

   • Tsang has been discharged from hospital and returned to Yee Hong. Please pray for Mrs. Tsang’s recovery and pray for her family as well. Thank you.
