    • 11am Sat Dec 25 – Christmas Day Joint Holy Communion Service (Online & In-Person)

    • 11am Sun Dec 26 – 1st Sunday after Christmas Joint Holy Baptism & Holy Communion Service (Online & In-Person)

      • Pastor Tom will be preaching and assisting with the Mandarin baptism

    • There will not be separate online English or Mandarin services on Dec 25 & 26, but we invite members to join the 11am services.

    • There will not be English Children’s Online Sunday School nor English Youth Group

  3. Pray for Baptismal Candidates

    • Please keep Edwin Chan who will be baptised on Dec 19 in Cantonese service and Xiu Lin Li who will be baptised on Dec 26 in Joint service in your prayers

  4. Dec 31, 2021 Expense Reimbursement Deadline

    • If you have expenses paid for the church please submit it before the end of the year for reimbursement. Late submission will not be accepted.

  5. St. Hilary’s Christmas Hampers

    • Looking for 5 members from St. E who will help at St Hilary’s to pack the Christmas 'hampers' on

      • Thurs Dec 16 from 10 am - 12 noon, and again on

      • Mon Dec 20 from 10 am on.

    • They will be distributing the hampers on

      • Thurs Dec 23 from 10 am - 12 noon

  6. Christmas Flowers

    • Every Christmas we have Christmas flowers for decoration. We encourage parishioners to order Christmas flowers at $10.00 per pot. Please ask Marian Chu for order. Christmas flowers can be taken home after the Christmas Day service.

  8. Advent Study with Rev. Maria Ling on Zoom

    • “Names for the Messiah: An Advent Study” by Walter Brueggemann

    • In Isaiah 9:6, a divine utterance is given to us using four royal titles--Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace. Names for the Messiah ponders each title and how the people understood it then, how Jesus did or did not fulfill the title, and how Christians interpret Jesus as representative of that title.

    • Christians have claimed from the beginning that Jesus was the Messiah foretold in the Old Testament. In this study, best-selling author Walter Brueggemann tackles the questions: "What were these expectations?" and "Did Jesus fulfill them?"
