  2. Thanksgiving Food Drive

    • Let us pray to our Lord to help our neighbours through this year's Thanksgiving Food Drive. From Sep 24th to Oct 1st, please donate non-expired and non-perishable food for Mississauga Food Bank by bringing the food to St. E (Peanut butter, cooking oil, pasta sauce, fruit Juice boxes, canned beans, canned meat, canned fruit, canned vegetables, canned soup, canned stew, flour, pasta, rice, cereal, Kraft dinner). 

    • In the meantime, we shall continue reaching out to the community for their help to our society through our “Neighbours Help Neighbours” program. On Sep.24, we shall deliver brown bags to a selected nearby neighbourhood and shall collect the donated food on Oct.1.  For those who are interested in helping out by delivering and picking up the brown bags, please contact info@stechurch.com 

  3. Oct 28 (Sat) English Ministry Harvest Festival

    • English Ministry is hosting a Harvest Festival on October 28th from 3-5pm. You are all invited! It will be in the parking lot of the church and in the surrounding area. We welcome you to drive in with Fall decorated trunks.

    • The voted best decorated trunk will receive a surprise gift.

    • If you would like, you may bring nut-free prepackaged treats to share with all the kids.

    • We invite each participant to bring their own snacks so that we can all have a picnic together while social distancing. Children can join in activities such as crafts and a scavenger hunt during the time.

  4. Community Garden Network

    • Thank you for contributing your fresh produce on Sunday September 17. They have distributed to the families in need. Our next collection date will be October 15.  We encourage you to support the families in need.

    • Following the evaluation from our Folksgala last year, parishioners would like St. E to be a serving church.  We will hold a Community Garden Network and encourage you to donate some of your grown produce to the needy families through Carefirst Seniors and Community Services Association.

    • If you are willing to share your loving produce, please bring them to church on the 3rd Sunday of each month as follows:

    • July 16, 2023

    • August 20, 2023

    • September 17, 2023

    • October 15, 2023

  6. Women’s Small Group - Oct 8 after English Service

    • Next Women’s Group meeting will be on Sunday, October 8th after the English Service in the old worship hall.

  7. Cantonese Bible Study Group

    • Next Bible Study session will be October 12.

    • The Cantonese Bible Study Group will meet at 7 pm on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Thursdays during the months of August. October, November and December 2023.

  8. Property Management Notice

    • The property management department is scheduled to clean and maintain the inside and outside of the church on the morning of the second Saturday of each month. We invite all church members to take time to participate in this activity. If possible, please bring your own gardening tools. Interested parties please contact Property Management Minister Paul Seto.

    • If it rains that day, it will be postponed to the next Saturday.
