Our Church’s Community Garden Planter Assignments

  • Our church is currently inviting our members, Sunday school students, senior members of the Carefirst, students and teachers of Terry Fox Montessori School, and their parents to join this year’s planting activities at our Community Garden.

  • If you are interested, please first write your name on the reception desk sign-up sheet. You will be notified of your planter’s location after May 3. Planting can begin after your location has been assigned. If you have any questions, please contact Rev. Leung.

  • Important Notes:

  1. Our church has installed an automatic sprinkler system, which will water on a schedule every day. However, when the weather is very hot, gardeners may need to add extra soil moisture as needed.

  2. Please be careful when planting to avoid damaging the pipes of the automatic sprinkler system.

  3. Gardeners must bring their own planting tools. You should also add things like soil, fertilizer/nutrients, or other materials that help plants grow.

  4. All harvest belongs to the gardeners. You are welcome to donate extra produce to neighbors who need it.

  5. Please help keep the Community Garden clean and litter free
