    • English Prayer Meeting on Sep 20 will be cancelled for 1 week

  2. Thanksgiving Food Drive

    • Let us pray to our Lord to help our neighbours through this year's Thanksgiving Food Drive. From Sep 24th to Oct 1st, please donate non-expired and non-perishable food for Mississauga Food Bank by bringing the food to St. E (Peanut butter, cooking oil, pasta sauce, fruit Juice boxes, canned beans, canned meat, canned fruit, canned vegetables, canned soup, canned stew, flour, pasta, rice, cereal, Kraft dinner). 

    • In the meantime, we shall continue reaching out to the community for their help to our society through our “Neighbours Help Neighbours” program. On Sep.24, we shall deliver brown bags to a selected nearby neighbourhood and shall collect the donated food on Oct.1.  For those who are interested in helping out by delivering and picking up the brown bags, please contact info@stechurch.com 

  3. Oct 1st 10:30am St. Elizabeth’s 31st Anniversary Joint Holy Communion Service & Lunch Fellowship

    • Rev. Canon Victor Li will be preaching in Cantonese and English

    • Children’s program will begin after children's message

    • No Youth Group scheduled

    • We invite you to join us for lunch following service that Sunday.

    • Please purchase your lunch tickets this Sunday after service.

    • Adults $10, children 5-12yr $5.

    • Children 4 or under is free.

    • All are welcome to attend. We hope to see you there!

  4. Women’s Small Group - Sep 17 after English Service

    • English Ministry is starting a new small group for women.

    • First ever Women’s Group meeting on Sunday, September 17th after the English Service in the old worship hall.

    • Refreshments will be served. Looking forward to seeing you.

  5. Community Garden Network

    • Following the evaluation from our Folksgala last year, parishioners would like St. E to be a serving church.  We will hold a Community Garden Network and encourage you to donate some of your grown produce to the needy families through Carefirst Seniors and Community Services Association.

    • If you are willing to share your loving produce, please bring them to church on the 3rd Sunday of each month as follows:

    • July 16, 2023

    • August 20, 2023

    • September 17, 2023

    • October 15, 2023

  6. Mission Ministry: “Warm Action”

    • Thankfully we received positive feedback from the recipients of our St. E Community Garden Network. Our mission team will hold a crochet workshop in the church. The date is scheduled for Wednesday, September 20, from 10 am to 12 pm (noon). There will be an instructor teaching basic introductory crochet techniques, free of charge. It is hoped that through sharing and learning together, we will act with love and crochet warm hats or scarves for the elderly.

    • Let us enjoy the joy of fellowship together, while adhering to the teachings of the Bible, dedicate our love and strength to those in need in the community.

  7. Sunday Bible Study for Adults

    • Not meeting on Sep 17 as Women’s Group will be meeting this Sunday

    • The UPDATED English and Cantonese rosters for September & October worship are available on our website stechurch.com/roster

  9. Property Management Notice

    • Thanks to all who volunteered to help with the gardening and clean up on last Saturday

    • The property management department is scheduled to clean and maintain the inside and outside of the church on the morning of the second Saturday of each month. We invite all church members to take time to participate in this activity. If possible, please bring your own gardening tools. Interested parties please contact Property Management Minister Paul Seto.

    • Next scheduled for October 14

    • If it rains that day, it will be postponed to the next Saturday.

  10. Cantonese Bible Study Group

    • Due to prearranged travel engagements by a number of group members, the group decides that there will be no meetings for the Cantonese Bible Study Group during the months of June, July and September of 2023.

    • The Cantonese Bible Study Group will meet at 7 pm on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Thursdays during the months of August. October, November and December 2023.
