After accumulating a certain number of stickers, students can earn a special gift.

Summary of Decisions and Reports from the Synod of the Diocese of Toronto
The diocese held its synod on November 8-9, during which multiple decisions were made, and reports and recommendations from relevant committees or working groups were accepted. The key points are as follows:
Continuing to promote the 'Spiritual Renewal' workshops and related activities, as well as the ministry for children and youth.
Allocating funds to promote and support reconciliation efforts with Indigenous peoples. Ten percent of the revenue from land sales will be used to support this ministry.
Continuing to support refugee ministries, education and training related to climate change, and advocating for affordable housing and care for the homeless.
Promoting new models of cooperation between parishes. To assist resource-scarce and under-resourced parishes, it is proposed to develop collaborative or merged ministries among several parishes to combine resources and meet pastoral needs.

The Pre-Authorized Remittance (PAR) is easy, reliable, and helps you develop a good habit of giving on time. If you want to join or have questions, please contact the church wardens or email par@stechurch.com.

THIS SUNDAY Aug 31 After Service
Outdoor Cross Blessing Ceremony
We will have an outdoor cross blessing ceremony right after the Sunday service on August 31. We invite brothers and sisters to stay and participate. We have set up a cross and bench under the big tree outside the church entrance. This space is meant for anyone in need to reflect on the salvation of Jesus Christ and to pray for help with their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, so they can receive strength and comfort from above.
Farewell for Seminarian Intern
Iris Mak, our Seminarian intern, will complete her year of study with us on August 31. We want to thank her for her service over the past year, which has greatly contributed to the spiritual growth and faith of our church members. May God bless and guide her as she graduates and serves in her new church, caring for the congregation.
To show our appreciation, we will hold a simple farewell meal after the Sunday service on ‘Blessing of the Outdoor Cross’. We hope that brothers and sisters can join us.
