St. E Community Garden Network

  • Thank you for contributing your fresh produce on Sunday September 21. We collected about 170 pounds and had given to CareFirst. They have distributed to 26 families in need.  Our next collection date will be October 19.  We encourage you to support the families in need.

  • The Mission Ministry will have Community Garden Network again this year. On the third Sunday of each month, we will collect fresh vegetables grown or purchased by church members and donate them to families in need in our community.

  • If you are willing to share your loving product, please bring them to church on the following Sundays: October 19

Sat Oct 4 11am-1:30pm Morning Prayer and Blessing of the Animals

  • We are excited to collaborate once again with "Happy Valley Toronto Pet Group" to hold the Morning Prayer and Blessing of the Animals. All brothers and sisters are welcome to bring their pets to participate.

  • Date: October 4 (Saturday, Feast of St. Francis of Assisi)

  • Program: 11:00-11:30: Welcoming; 11:30-12:30: Worship; 12:30-1:30: Light Lunch

  • Worship Language: Cantonese and English

  • Note: Pet owners are requested to use leashes, carriers, or strollers for their animals.

Sun Oct 5 10:30am 33rd Anniversary Celebration and Thanksgiving Service

  • Our church will celebrate its 33rd anniversary. We invite brothers and sisters to set aside time to celebrate God's grace together. A fellowship lunch will be held after the service that day.

  • Date: October 5 (Sunday) Service Time: 10:30 AM

  • Meal Fee: $12 per person (Free for children under 12)

  • Meal Registration: Please sign up at the reception desk.

  • Our church was originally honored to have the Rt. Rev. Kevin Robertson, the bishop, attend the joint Communion service and sermon for our anniversary celebration, sharing fellowship in Christ. However, due to the bishop's sudden need to travel out of town, he will now visit our church on November 2 (Sunday) to officiate the joint Communion service and deliver a sermon. We kindly ask all brothers and sisters to set aside time for this occasion. On that day, our church will arrange simple refreshments before and after the service to welcome the bishop and fellow parishioners.

  • For Cantonese-speaking adults to learn to play Christmas songs with the Djembe and Rainbow Bells

Sun Oct 12 11:30am – 12:30pm Women’s Group Meeting

  • Women’s group will meet after “Tea-time” on Sunday Oct 12 in the old worship hall.

Sat Oct 18 9am - 12pm Property Clean Up & Gardening

  • Thanks to all who volunteered to help with gardening and clean up last Saturday.

  • The property management department is scheduled to clean and maintain the inside and outside of the church on the morning of the third Saturday of each month (at 9:00am-12:00noon). We invite all church members to take time to participate in this activity. If possible, please bring your gardening equipment. Interested parties please contact Paul Seto.

  • Next and final scheduled date for year: October 18
