Sat Sep 19 St. E Walkathon Fundraiser was a Great Success!

Thanks be to God for His grace and for the support of our brothers and sisters and friends. The Walkathon Fundraiser was successfully completed on September 19. A total of $20,733.40 was raised, far exceeding our original goal. Once again, thank you, brothers and sisters, for actively taking part in fundraising and volunteering for God’s house—our church. May the Lord Himself reward you for all your hard work.
We plan to present awards to the top three fundraisers on our Church Anniversary Day, October 4 (next Sunday). Each top fundraiser will receive a commemorative gift.
The top three fundraisers are:
1. Annie Chan & Donut
2. Yvonne Zheng
3. Anna Lo, Andy Ng, & Sau Fong Cheung
May we continue to pray that the Lord will guide all the ministries of our church and provide all the resources we need.

Property Management Notice

Thanks to all who volunteered to help with gardening and clean up on Saturday.
The Property Management team will have its last cleanup and maintenance session of the quarter on Saturday, October 17, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
We invite everyone to set aside some time to join us in this ministry of service. If possible, please bring your own gardening tools.
(If it rains that day, the activity will be postponed to the following Saturday.)

Sat Oct 3 Cantonese Morning Prayer and Blessing of the Animals

We are excited to collaborate once again with “Toronto Pet Group” to hold Morning Prayer and the Blessing of the Animals. All brothers and sisters are welcome to bring their pets to participate.
Date: October 3 (NEXT Saturday, Feast of St. Francis of Assisi)
Time: 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM (11:00-11:30: Welcoming; 11:30-12:30: Worship; 12:30-1:30: Hearty Lunch)
Worship Language: Cantonese

St. E’s 34th Anniversary Thanksgiving Service and Potluck Celebration

We will celebrate our 34th anniversary on October 4. Following the joint Eucharist service, we will have a potluck lunch.

Sunday School students can share their answers with Yvonne Zheng and receive a sticker for each correct answer (one answer equals one sticker). After accumulating 12 stickers, students can earn a special gift. Additionally, you can ask Yvonne for tips.
