  9. Cantonese Faith Formation Ministry Lent Devotional Activities

    • In the church calendar, the forty days before Easter (not including Sunday) are Lent. This year, the first day of Lent (Ash Wednesday) will be February 14. Lent is an important period for Christians to reflect on their lives, especially their relationship with God, with the purpose of preparing ourselves to remember the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus.

    • This year, the Faith Formation Ministry invites everyone to read the Chinese translated version of the book "Introducing the Christian Faith" by Michael Ramsey, who was the 100th Archbishop of Canterbury. This book discusses the Christian faith from simple to profound through eight chapters, leading everyone to reflect on faith, change their perspective, and thereby understand the power of God.

    • This year’s Cantonese Lent Devotional meetings will be held in via ZOOM and led by Rev. Leung. St. E Members are welcome to attend. Please contact Margaret Loo or email rsvp@stechurch.com.
